In the past 50 years, the LCD industry has undergone many technological innovations, from TN LCD, HTN LCD, STN LCD to TFT LCD and OLED. TFT LCD has been highly regarded since the late 1980s. Now it's OLED's turn, which is widely used in smartwatches, smartphones, and laptops with its excellent display capabilities. It seems that the next generation of display technology will be micro LEDs and micro LED displays. Many major manufacturers have been investing in mini/micro LED displays, foreseeing broad prospects.
